WindSea plans to build a prototype
Right now WindSea is in the phase of refining the design slightly more - in fact, that`s going to take place in 2010 and 2011. Bulind a prototype is planned to take place in 2012. Read more about this in the article from Scandinavian Oil-Gas Magazine No. 7/8 2010.

Windsea is now a member of Windcluster Mid-Norway
Wind Cluster Mid-Norway was established in 2010 by energy and industrial businesses, along with research communities and local government agencies mainly based in Mid-Norway. The cluster consists of leading Norwegian companies within the emerging wind power industry of Norway such as GE, Aker Solutions and Smart Motor. Even if Windsea is not geographically based in Mid-Norway we feel it is important to be a part of one of the leading industrial initiative to join the forces within this young Norwegian industry.

Searching for investors
The hunt for the best solutions to harvest offshore winds is on. WindSea is among the solutions ready to be realised. But the company needs 350 million Norwegian kroner to finish the prototype.

WindSea at NEREC 28-29 September 2010
WindSea participated at the 2010 NEREC exhibition and at the NEREC Conference with a Technology Presentation. The session (TAKING WINDPOWER TO THE NEXT LEVEL) was dedicated to land-based and offshore wind power.
In 2009, WindSea won the NEREC Innovation Prize.
WindSea at ONS 2010 24-27 of August
ONS is one of the world`s leading energy industry expositions.
WindSea was present at FORCE Technology`s stand in Stavanger . WindSea was also nominated for the ONS 2010 Innovation Award
